Roadside mowing request for proposals

SEEKING PROPOSALS FOR ROADSIDE MOWING

The Town of Spring Valley, Rock County, WI, is seeking

proposals for roadside mowing for the 2019 season. The majority

of the 58 miles of town roads will be mowed two to three times

depending on the growing season and at the discretion of the town

board: typically early June, mid-July, and mid-September. The first

two mowings shall be a minimum width of 5 feet; the final

mowing a minimum of 10 feet.

Proposals shall state the mowing width and cost per mowing.

Proposals are due April 15, 2019 to the office of the clerk Dela

Ends, 17310 W. Footville-Brodhead Rd, Brodhead, WI 53520; or

emailed to svclerk@ckhweb.com. Receipt of proposal will be

acknowledged. Offerors may be contacted if board members have

questions and negotiations may take place. A proposal may be

chosen at the April 16, 2019 town board meeting. Liability

insurance certificate must be submitted for the proposal to be

considered.

The Town of Spring Valley reserves the right to accept or reject

any or all proposals and retains the right to accept the proposal

considered to be the most advantageous to the town.
